TODAY we´re celebrating with Laura Falconer who passed her driving test at the first attempt.
Eighteen year old Laura´s cry of "I´ve passed!" could be heard from 50 yards away as she delivered the good news to her mum.
Laura, who took her test at Irvine, said: "Passed my test first time today, thanks to the superb tuition from Mark!
"Easy to understand instructions - and a brilliant guy to get along with, which helped a lot!"
Shop worker Laura added: "Thanks again, Mark! Now I´m out in the big wide world myself!"
Her success follows that of snow board instructor and yoga teacher Heather Brown, from Canada, who passed her test at Greenock.
Heather, whose family stay at Glendaruel, on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyle, had just eight hours tuition to get used to the road layout in Greenock.
The 29-year-old, currently applying for Canadian citizenship, was doubly delighted as her British licence can be converted to a Canadian one, allowing her to avoid a two year training programme in her adopted homeland.
Heather said: "I would highly recommend Mark as an instructor - and I wouldn´t have passed without him.
"Thanks again, I´m very pleased!"
Earlier this summer, airport worker Cameron Shields passed his driving test at Irvine.
Delighted Cameron, from Lochwinnoch, said: "I couldn´t be more pleased with Mark´s teaching.
"He sets you up to be an independent driver and helps you learn about in car distractions and the dangers they pose to young drivers."
The 20-year-old added: "You will learn a lot and feel confident in the car with Mark."
His success followed that of Karishma Rogerson, from the Seychelles, who passed her UK driving test at the first attempt after 16 hours of tuition.
Karishma drove superbly to pass with just three faults at Irvine and hailed her test "a very cool experience"!
The 35-year-old, now living in Prestwick, said: "Thank you Mark, I couldn´t have done it without you!"
And she added: "Mark is an amazing instructor - very professional in his approach, very patient and polite.
"I could not have been better prepared for my test and would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for excellent driving tuition."
Euan Aitken delivered a sensational drive to pass his driving test in Ayr at the first attempt with NO faults.
Graduate Euan took to the roads with the thermometer showing 26 degrees centigrade but stayed cool to deliver an immaculate drive.
Delighted with his success, Euan, from Troon, said: "Again Mark, thanks for everything."
The 23-year-old, currently building a career in procurement, added: "Mark has been brilliant from day one.
"He offers tailored lessons that focus on areas of weakness. This approach builds confidence and enabled me to handle all the difficulties that arose during my test with ease. Happy to recommend Mark to all."
In March, university researcher Jenna Carpenter, from Ayr, also drove superbly to earn her licence at the town´s test centre - recording just one fault.
Proudly displaying her pass certificate, Jenna said: "Thank you for giving a nervous person the confidence to be able to drive anywhere through your brilliant, laid-back but encouraging teaching style."
Jenna is the second pupil to pass with just one fault this year, following Ardrossan janitor Robbie Hood´s stunning performance when passing first time at Irvine.
Robbie, who was celebrating his birthday, said: "Thanks, Mark. It´s been a pleasure. I would recommend you to anyone."
His success was followed by that of student Chris Langridge, of West Kilbride, who also passed at Irvine and rugby player Logan Maxwell, from Troon, who passed first time, with just three faults, when he sat his test at Ayr.
Earlier this year, Jack Kerr, from West Kilbride, passed first time at Irvine with just three driver faults.
Delighted Jack, who is studying to be a maintenance engineer in Britain´s nuclear industry, said: "I´m thrilled to have passed and it was all down to Mark and his excellent tuition."
